# Master Plan V20 — Change Summary

This summary accompanies `master-plan-v20.json`.

## What changed from V19

### 1) Naming and doctrine are now cleaner
V20 explicitly separates:
- **Monkey-Head-Project** as the umbrella initiative
- **Huey** as the identity
- **HueyOS** as the operating-system layer
- **Huey Core** as the **minimal permissible instance of Huey**
- **Huey proper** as the fuller unified world-facing expression of the distributed system

### 2) Huey Core is no longer equated with Huey proper
V19 still treated Huey Core as the practical doorway while occasionally collapsing it into Huey proper.
V20 makes the distinction explicit:
- **Huey Core** = proof body / doorway / smallest complete unit
- **Huey proper** = later collective aperture of the wider system

### 3) Robotics V3 is sunset as the active expansion path
V20 keeps V3 in project history, but it is no longer treated as the active future shell path for this iteration.

### 4) V4 “the Farm” is now canonical
V20 introduces:
- **V4: the Farm** as the planned external district housing
- a later multi-GPU / multi-node scale-out path beyond Huey Core
- alignment with the standardized future node basis around the **ASUS TUF Z790-PLUS WiFi** and **Intel i9** line

### 5) The public README and the machine spec are now better aligned
V20 updates the master plan language to match the cleaner README v20 framing:
- present-tense truthfulness
- the dual proof milestone
- current-state clarity over layered manifesto drift
- cleaner top-level terminology

### 6) Open questions now reflect the new canon
V20 replaces the old “when does Robotics V3 return?” framing with new questions around:
- the exact **Farm** topology
- GPU acquisition strategy
- the 80 GB distributed identity path
- long-term embodiment beyond **Core + Farm**

## Follow-up that may still be worth doing
- sync any operator-oriented excerpts or diagrams to the new V20 terminology
- generate a machine diff between V19 and V20 for commit history
- refresh repo images so the public README matches the current embodied build
