# v88.2 release notes

This release treats v88.2 as the locked baseline and focuses on proof-authenticity cleanup, naming consistency, and final public drift reduction rather than any redesign.

## What changed

- kept the v88.2 page structure and information architecture intact
- aligned build/version strings to v88.2 across HTML, CSS, JS, service worker, metadata, and release markers
- kept JetBrains Mono integrated only where code-heavy or terminal-like content benefits from it
- removed stale duplicate root release artifacts from earlier passes
- kept the kernel proof panels explicitly framed as derived public proof pending direct live Huey Core captures

## Remaining follow-up

The only required authenticity upgrade still outstanding is the addition of direct live Huey Core terminal and build/package captures on the Linux 7.0 kernel page. Other follow-up items are optional visual refreshes.
