Scope
- detailed pass focused on the Dogs page
- preserved the v88.9 site structure, nav, shell, and information architecture
- improved the Dogs landing page so it reads warmer, clearer, and more deliberately archived without redesigning the page system

Dogs page
- updated the metadata description so the page reads as a warm real-photo archive instead of a dry route label
- rebuilt the Dogs page hero collage from the stronger real-photo set already present in the site assets and archive bundle
- refreshed the Dogs OG/share card with the same warmer real-photo direction
- tightened the lead copy so the page explains why the dog archive remains named and distinct without sounding defensive
- improved the five named dog cards with clearer one-line descriptions that go beyond breed labels alone
- standardized the Dogs card grid into a calmer three-column desktop rhythm that reduces the awkward 2-plus-2-plus-1 stacking
- softened the Dogs card treatment so the page stays warmer and less technical than the main lab pages
- added the missing sr-only H1 on the Dogs landing page for better accessibility continuity

Release discipline
- aligned build markers, support files, and download references to v88.9
- kept Downloads footer-only and /downloads/ canonical
- preserved the current JetBrains Mono state from v88.6 onward without changing its scope
